How to use OikoNotes without AI

OikoNotes works as a notes, tasks, calendar, and publishing workspace without AI. The core workflow is capture, link, plan, and export.

  1. Leave AI disabled in settings, or turn it off per note when a note should never be processed.
  2. Use quick capture for raw material and process it manually from the inbox.
  3. Create wikilinks with exact note names when two notes should stay connected.
  4. Use projects, tasks, todos, and calendar entries directly instead of generated suggestions.
  5. Export Markdown backups from Settings when you want an offline copy outside the app.
