Knowledge Graph

The Knowledge Graph provides an interactive visual map of your notes and their connections. Notes appear as nodes and wikilinks appear as edges, giving you a bird's-eye view of your knowledge base.

Navigation

  • Pan — Click and drag on the canvas background
  • Zoom — Use the scroll wheel or the zoom controls
  • Fit All — Click the fit button to zoom out to show all nodes

Interacting with Nodes

  • Hover — Highlights the node and its direct connections, showing a tooltip with the note title and type
  • Click — Selects the node for focus mode

Focus Mode

Click on a node to enter focus mode, which zooms into the selected note's neighbourhood. Only the selected note and its directly connected notes are highlighted, making it easy to explore local clusters.

Search

Use the search bar at the top of the graph view to find specific nodes. Matching nodes are highlighted in the graph.

Filter Panel

The filter panel lets you control which notes and links are shown:

  • Note type — Show or hide nodes by type (fleeting, permanent, meeting, etc.)
  • Status — Filter by inbox, triaged, or public status
  • Tags — Filter nodes by specific tags
  • Edge kinds — Show or hide different types of connections

Legend

A legend panel explains the meaning of different node colours and edge styles. Node colours correspond to note types, and edge styles indicate the kind of link.

Stats Bar

The bottom of the graph view shows the total count of visible nodes and edges.

Theme Support

The graph automatically adapts to your chosen theme (dark or light mode), ensuring node and edge colours remain readable.
