How to publish selected notes

Publishing is opt-in. Private notes stay private unless you deliberately turn a note into a public post or page.

  1. Choose the note you want to publish and remove private context that does not belong on the public web.
  2. Open the publishing controls and select whether the note should be a post or a page.
  3. Set the public title, slug, tags, and excerpt.
  4. Preview the public output before sharing the URL.
  5. Use comments and custom domains only when you want a public site, not just a single shared note.
