Sharing & Collaboration

The Sharing page at /sharing lets you share notes and projects with other users. You control who has access and what they can do. Sharing requires a cloud account.

Creating a Share

  1. Select the entity type: Note or Project
  2. Search for the item by typing its name (results appear after 2+ characters)
  3. Select the item from the dropdown (use arrow keys and Enter)
  4. Enter the recipient’s email address
  5. Choose a permission level: Read or Write
  6. Click Create Share

Permission Levels

LevelAccess
ReadView the shared note or project (read-only)
WriteView and edit the shared note or project

Shared with Me

The Shared with Me section shows items others have shared with you. Each entry lists the content type, sender, permission level, and status.

  • Pending shares can be accepted or declined
  • Accepted shares grant you access to the item

My Shares

The My Shares section shows items you have shared. You can see each recipient’s email, permission level, and status. Click Revoke to permanently remove a recipient’s access.

Requirements

Sharing requires a cloud account connected via Settings → Account. Both the sharer and recipient must have cloud accounts.
